Chocolate and it's war against Tooth Decay
Researchers have found that chocolate just might protect against tooth decay. A study carried in Oaska University in japan found that parts of the cocoa bean, which is the main ingredient for chocolate discovered that the cocoa bean husk which is the outer layer of the bean which normally ends up going to waste has in fact an anti bacterial effect on the mouth and can fight effectively against plaque and other damaging agents. The Japanese scientists also found that chocolate is less harmful than many other sweet foods because the antibacterial agents in cocoa beans offset its many high sugar levels. Dentists do encourage a good Oral Hygiene, rather than eating lots of chocolate; but the facts are there Chocolates is not only good for the soul but Might just be good for your teeth as-well.
