Our chocolate is raw Hispaniola cacao from Dominican Republic. Great care is taken by the father of this family farm to avoid reaching fermentation temperatures above 115 degrees, preserving the rawness of the cacao.
We use a single origin, straight from the bean, cacao mass with very little cacao butter for maximum health benefit. We do not use reconstituted cacao powder. We do not use chocolate couverture. We do not use any emulsifiers. We choose not to follow any such cost and time saving practices which we believe come at the expense of quality. Our at-source method provides the purest, strongest and most authentic flavors and aromas.

Our dark chocolate clocks in at 85%. The 15% non-cacao components are from the generous portions of pure and healthful, vanillin-rich, Bourbon vanilla and pure maple syrup of the highest grade.

We use non-radiated, unpasteurized, raw nuts & seeds which we then sprout ourselves, releasing antioxidants and vitamins and breaking down starches, enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid. This allows for easier digestion and nutrient absorption and the health benefits go through the roof.

Our 14 gram small size Pebbles have only 1 or 2 grams of low glycemic unrefined sugar from our pure maple syrup and 2 to grams of protein.

Our truffles are dairy-free (dairy may neutralize some health benefits of dark chocolate), and free of any other ingredients or additives whatsoever.

All the ingredients have been sourced from the best quality, often small local farms and are Certified Organic.
Hnina truffles are Gluten Free, Vegan, Paleo and certified Kosher.
