This chocolate has just the right sweetness and bitterness. I gave one to my mom and she loved it. Its is her new favorite kind of dark chocolate.

This so far is my most favorite 63 per cent dark chocolate. It is smooth, mouth-filling and leaves a distinct after-taste that delights the palate

About The Product

The smoothest in our line, the 63% dark chocolate bar is delicious. Beneath the smooth chocolate, are notes of cranberry, raspberry and cherry. These beans come from the Sambirano valley in the remote northwest corner of Madagascar. These are considered by many to be the best conditions for growing cocoa beans in the world. Ingredients: cocoa beans, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla.
The smoothest in our line, the 63% dark chocolate bar has the creamy comfort of milk chocolate without all the sugar. Beneath the creaminess are subtle notes of red fruit.

We’ve spent over 10 years combined working and living in Madagascar as Peace Corps Volunteers, and beyond. The island became home and the people our families and friends. Our products represent that personal connection to the island, a deeper understanding of the rich and complex flavors hidden inside the varieties of cocoa, vanilla and peppercorns found exclusively in Madagascar. The result is unique, satisfying products unlike anything you’ve tasted before.

We actually make our chocolate from scratch (bean to bar) in Madagascar. This means every step of our process happens close to the source and our cocoa beans only spend a month between harvest and manufacturing. It also means the people of Madagascar benefit more (4x) from their own natural resources.

Madécasse was inspired by our Peace Corps experiences in Madagascar.
