Paraiso Delicacies, or, appropriately translated, "Delicacies of Paradise,” is a dream come true for chocolate entrepreneur, Joanie Paraiso-Knott. Joanie thrives on creating delicious morsels for others to enjoy. Paraiso Delicacies came into conception when Joanie came up with a flawless recipe for homemade English toffee. She combined her love for chocolate and her love for people and began to give it away as pretty little holiday gifts for family and friends. Much to her surprise, her generosity would soon develop into a humble little business. People started placing orders, and a name for her masterpiece became a necessity. The English toffee was jokingly named "Rocalicious", due to the fact that it is similar to Almond Roca, and is beyond delicious.
Joanie did not stop there. Being the "chocolatier" that she is, she began to make other so called "heavenly", seemingly "divine" chocolate delicacies, such as her White Chocolate Coconut Rum Truffles or her Rocalicious covered caramel apples.
Joanie, owner of Paraiso Delicacies, has since ventured into the wonderful world of catering! With over 20 years of catering experience, and events ranging from a 10 person dinner party to a full four course meal for a wedding reception consisting of 185 people, Joanie and her staff have "wowed" clients time and time again. Being that her catering was originally done for friends and family, Joanie knows the importance of personalizing and catering to your specific needs. Whatever the occasion, big or small, casual or formal, Joanie and her staff find great enjoyment in blessing their clients with their passion for people, food, and chocolates.
